During a trip to the Oregon coast where we stayed in a rented house right on the beach (the sand of the beach was literally just out the back door), I was able to capture some really fun images. I call this one "Fantasy Lighthouse" because it is a composite of two images.
The foreground and lighthouse comes from a real shot I took of the Yaquina head lighthouse in Newport, Oregon. However, the shot was taking at almost mid-day and while the foreground and lighthouse looked great with the sea crashing on the shore to the left, the sky was dull and drab at that time of day. So I combined it with another real shot taken of a sunset featuring a massive "King Kiwanda" rock at Cape Kiwanda in Pacific City, Oregon.
